Santa Marta is a city located on the Caribbean Sea in northern Colombia. It is a port city and was the first Spanish settlement in Colombia. It serves as the gateway for excursions to the Tayrona National Natural Park and tours to the archaeological site of the Lost City Teyuna in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Santa Marta.
